Workshops
Educational/Recreational/Wellbeing:
Zoe has experience of running a huge variety of workshops, she often works closely with Learning and Participation and engagement departments to breakdown traditional making, craft and backstage skills into projects that can be easily accessed. From small focus group workshops to open flow craft events facilitating 300-600 participants per day.
Zoe takes bespoke workshops into schools and colleges, to groups and libraries, and works with organisations and companies to deliver creative wellbeing sessions.
Zoe is also a workshop leader at an arts and crafts centre where she developed and now delivers a Sensory Arts session working with individuals with additional needs and PMLD.
As Deckle and Hide, Zoe also delivers careers talks and gives insight talks into working backstage and life as a maker and also shares her knowledge of making the arts workshops accessible.
Most recently Zoe has just completed a whole school eco project. Where she worked with a local primary school to devise bespoke workshops from Reception through to Year 6.
Zoe works across a mix of disciplines, incorporating puppetry, storytelling, working with clay, painting, woodwork, leatherwork, printing, mosaic, fabric, upcycled materials…she is very versatile and resourceful!
For any workshop queries don’t hesitate to ask, just please don’t ask her to sing!
